Senior Product Designer

Responsibilities:

Design and improve products; collaborate with relevant departments to develop products from concept to production; ensure all design files and technical documentation are complete and accurate.

General Duties:

Develop product design concepts from sketches and 3D models to complete technical documentation.
Organize and manage all design- related documents: drawings, BOMs, product descriptions, assembly procedures, etc.
Design the industrial form of hand tools (e.g. pliers), focusing on appearance, structure, materials, and functionality.
Assist in prototype development, testing, and collect feedback for necessary design adjustments.
Coordinate with engineering, production, and QA/QC departments to verify the feasibility and efficiency of the design in actual manufacturing.
Perform other tasks as assigned by superiors.
Improve existing products in terms of aesthetics, functionality, or cost efficiency.
Use design software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Rhino, etc.) to create 3D models and detailed drawings.
Research design trends, customer needs, and competitor products to propose suitable design solutions.
Participate in R&D meetings and periodic brainstorming sessions to propose creative product ideas.

Authorities:

Propose new product ideas or design improvements.
Request tools, software, documents, or necessary support for task completion.
Participate in discussions and give input during product development meetings.
Access and utilize technical data and internal documents for design work.

Required Qualifications & Competencies:
Education:

University or College degree in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Arts, or related fields.

Experience:

Preference given to candidates with experience in designing consumer products, tools, packaging, household goods, or mechanical products.
3–5 years of experience in product design.

Skills:

Basic understanding of materials, mechanical structures, and ergonomics is a plus.
Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop is a plus.
Proficient in technical design software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Rhino, or other 3D modeling tools.
Strong teamwork and cross- functional collaboration skills.
Good sense of aesthetics, shapes, and color.
Proactive, creative, responsible, and eager to learn and grow long- term.

Working Hours

Overtime may be required depending on workload.
Monday to Saturday, 08:00 – 16:30 (30- minute lunch break).
