Core Responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced and creative Senior Product Designer specializing in human- centered design to join our team! As a Senior Product Designer, you will be responsible for delivering the best user experience, making your role extremely important for our success, and ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty. You will create accessible, intuitive, and easy- to- use products while evangelizing the human- centered design process and specific methodologies that demonstrate the value of this approach.
A digital twin, as a mean to link digital models and simulations with real- world data, creates new possibilities for improved creativity, competitive advantage and human- centered design. Digital twin can help deliver on the grand challenges facing society, including achieving the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals and addressing rapid urbanization, population growth, and escalating infrastructure costs.
Akila provides a new kind of integrated facility management, answering today’s biggest challenges. We push facility management into the places where it urgently needs to go: Clean Energy, Environmental Services, Automation and Smart- city integration. We do so by assembling a strong team of product managers, designers and engineers to design the Digital Twin Platform.
Deliver product design specs, assets with clear and detailed annotation.
Establish guidelines and communicate best practices to the team in order to build excellent user experience for products.
Perform quantitative and qualitative user research.
Own the product user experience from beginning to end. Work together with product managers, engineers and QA until the product/feature is built to spec, polished while achieving business goals and fulfilling user needs.
Create information architecture, wireframes, interaction flows, prototype, motion and visual design with a strong understanding on persona and user journeys.
Define, build, and maintain design systems that spans multiple products and screen sizes.
Work inventively around constraints and navigate ambiguous situations.
Give and solicit feedback from colleagues to continually raise our bar for quality.
Present design to management, defending design decisions, advocating for the user, and building consensus.
