Senior Product Designer

Akila is looking for an experienced and creative Product Designer specializing in human- centered design to join our team! As a Product Designer, you will be responsible for delivering the best user experience, making your role extremely important for our success, and ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty. You will create accessible, intuitive, and easy- to- use products while evangelizing the human- centered design process and specific methodologies that demonstrate the value of this approach.

Perform quantitative and qualitative user research.
Own the product user experience from beginning to end. Work together with product managers, engineers and QA until the product/feature is built to spec, polished while achieving business goals and fulfilling user needs.
Present design to management, defend design decisions, advocating for the user, and building consensus
Deliver product design specs, assets with clear and detailed annotation.
Define, build, and maintain design systems that span multiple products and screen sizes.
Create information architecture, wireframes, interaction flows, prototype, motion and visual design with a strong understanding on persona and user journeys.
Work inventively around constraints and navigate ambiguous situations.
Establish guidelines and communicate best practices to the team in order to build excellent user experience for products.
Give and solicit feedback from colleagues to continually raise our bar for quality.

Yêu cầu công việc

Fluent in English.
Team player.
Excellent UX portfolio with a strong focus on UI.
Previous working experience as a Product or UX/UI Designer for a minimum of 5 years, but candidates with extensive portfolios are still encouraged to apply.
Experience in practicing human- centered design and human- computer interaction principles.
BA in design or similar relevant field (can be compensated with relevant experience).
Skillful at industry design tools such as Figma etc.
