Senior Production Planner

Responsible for the management, development and direction of the production planning to meet customer’s demand and inventory control functions
Planning & Production Control
- Leadership is provided to manage the production control and planning process in the most cost- efficient manner.
- Conduct efficiently weekly/ monthly production planning meeting
- Processes, procedures, and policies are created and implemented that will enable to meet scheduled commitments to our customers.
- Direct Reports are developed to be more efficient, productive and knowledgeable in their job
- ERP maintenance activities are verified as being performed per schedule.
- Potential problems are identified and communicated that could affect process or product quality.
Inventory Management
- Review weekly and monthly reports for: shipping requirements, pull- ins/push- outs requirements and component part
- Lead team to make initiatives and have action to achieve inventory target
- Processes, procedures are created and implemented that will enable to manage inventory, increase inventory turns, and reduce excess builds and scrap to ensure lowest possible cost
ERP
- Study and make use of ERP to improve job quality
- Study to generate various planning reports to support planning job
Leadership
- Responsible for the ongoing development, motivation, and satisfaction of team personnel
- Adapts readily to changes in work caused by new requirements and/or situations
- Maintain a positive attitude and cooperative in working with others.
- Lead, training & develop team members
- Other tasks assigned by superior
- Documentation and communication of suggestions for continuous improvement and cost reduction are provided
- Responsible for timely and consistent communication with department teams

Proficient computer skills, experience with Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Email, internet access
A minimum 5 years of related working experience in Production Planning in a manufacturing setting.
Demonstrated ability to facilitate projects and achieve results through others
Bachelor’s Degree, major in Supply chain/Industrial management is preferred.
Special Abilities: Customer focus, Planning, Teamwork, Communication, Negotiation, Self- motivated.
Experience with ERP software systems, Oracle preferred
Innovative, capable of training, developing employees to use ERP in planning and inventory control
Total Quality management experience
