Senior Purchaser

Follow up closely the delivery progress until materials reach to warehouse.
Participate in the internal product development meetings to identify new product demands, schedules, and procurement needs.
Review and proceed purchase requests for direct / indirect commodities.
Review purchase orders and contracts for conformance to company policy.
Supervise and evaluate the implement of contracts with suppliers.
Effective & proactive liaison with related departments and suppliers as necessary to forecast, plan to meet purchase deadline.
Participate in the development of specifications for services, equipments, products, supplies or substitute materials.
Manage and develop the existing and potential supplier and update the Approved Vendor List.
Negotiate with local and international suppliers and drive for cost saving and better service.
Be proactive in sourcing new suppliers to build up alternative supply resources.
Review supplier performance periodically and making judgements.

Proficiency in MS Office
Good negotiation and interpersonal skills
Bachelor in Economic, Foreign Trade, Business Administration or related.
Highly responsible, proactive and able to work under high pressure.
Fluent in English communication
Have knowledge and experience of imported goods
Experience in material purchasing for a fast- paced manufacturing site is prefered.
