Senior Python Developer

About the job

Work collaboratively with cross- functional teams to develop and deploy applications on the OpenShift platform, focusing on performance and reliability.
Design and implement a microservices architecture to meet complex business needs and scalability demands.
Keep abreast of back- end development trends and best practices, and mentor junior developers.
Engage in code reviews, architectural discussions, and contribute to technical decision- making to maintain code quality.
Develop and oversee CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Helm charts for streamlined deployment and application scaling.
Implement and maintain data storage solutions with MySQL, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch, optimizing data handling.
Create and manage RESTful APIs to ensure effective communication between front- end and back- end systems.
Utilize Docker for application packaging and deployment across development, testing, and production stages.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues throughout the application stack, including infrastructure and middleware.
Partner with DevOps to enhance deployment processes, system reliability, and infrastructure as code practices.
Develop and maintain robust back- end solutions using the Django framework.

About you

Hands- on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, and deployment workflows.
Working on Lyon (France) time zone (2PM – 10PM Vietnam Time).
Deep understanding of containerization and experience with Docker.
Agile development methodologies and project management tools like Jira are a plus.
Experience with Kubernetes- based platforms like OpenShift and application management using Helm charts.
Knowledge of relational databases (MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB), including data modeling and optimization.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills across distributed systems.
Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Familiarity with Elasticsearch for search functionality and data indexing.
At least 5 years of back- end development experience, with expertise in Python and the Django framework.
Proficiency in designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
