Senior QC Engineer Automation focus

Responsibilities

Design, organize and maintain test cases, test plans and test data
Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and QC peers to ensure high test coverage and fast feedback loops
Review, analyze requirements and specifications to understand project scope and identify potential test scenarios
Maintain and improve existing tests for scalability and reliability
Integrate automated tests into our CI/CD pipeline (e.g. CircleCI), ensuring seamless execution with every code change
Execute testing for web and mobile apps across various devices and browsers
Promote best practices in test automation and contribute to process improvement
Monitor automated test runs, triage failures, and log reproducible issues
Design, implement and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile apps built with React and React Native

Qualifications/Requirements:

Strong analytical and problem- solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Bachelor&039;s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non- technical audiences.
Extensive hands- on experience with industry- standard test automation tools and frameworks such as: Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, Cypress, Appium (for mobile). API Automation: Postman, Rest Assured
Proficiency with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira) and test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr).
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and various testing methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, BDD, TDD).
Ability to work independently and as part of a highly collaborative, globally distributed team.
Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining robust automation frameworks using programming languages like Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or C.
Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and tools
5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 3+ years in a Automation Test Engineer role.

Nice to Have:

Familiarity with LambdaTest for cross- browser and cross- device testing at scale
Experience in a large- scale e- commerce platform or high- volume consumer- facing application is a big plus
Knowledge of performance or load testing tools
ISTQB or other relevant QA certifications
