Senior R&D Engineer (Mechanical background)

- Follow up reliability testing with QA laboratory.
- Follow up competitive benchmarking and feasibility study.
- Follow up projects from design to mass production release.
- Follow up continuous product improvement actions
- Prepare 3D layout for ID to precede conceptual design.
- Follow up hand made samples and rapid prototyping.
- Follow up safety approval with laboratory.
- Follow up tool plan, mold and die debugging. Evaluate the new part according to the drawing.
- Prepare 3D part drawing and detail 2D drawing, subassembly drawing, exploded view. Performing dimensioning and tolerance calculations. Capable to apply geometric tolerance dimensioning.
- Coordinate with PMC and purchasing to organize EB, pilot run.
- Keep product file as most updated.
- Initiate documentation like BOM, ECO and SER.
- Communicate with suppliers to confirm component specification, target cost and lead- time.
This position will be based in Binh Duong and relocation to Saigon Hightech Park, District 9, HCMC in early 2024.

- Minimum 4 years relevant experience in project follow up in the engineering industry. Working in power tools field is an advantage.
- Good level of both written & verbal in English (to work with global team & report to Expats)
- Good communication, listening and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work pro- actively and effectively, self- starter and hardworking.
- Good computer experience with Windows, Microsoft Office, email communication, 2D and 3D CAD.
- Familiar with application for safety approval such as UL, CSA, CE, BS, SAA Other Skills
- Experience in Plastic Molding & Metal operations; Experience in Gearbox system & Motor structure is an advantage Special knowledge
- Familiar with UG or Pro- E is an advantage.
