The Senior Risk Management & Internal Control Officer will support Senior Risk Management & Internal Control Leader in preparation of all internal policies and processes, systems, and auditing governance practices across the Company with a particular focus on making recommendations to help to achieve company’s strategic objectives, minimize the risks and improve operations of business.
The Risk management & Internal Control Senior Officer shall be under the direction of the Senior Risk Management & Internal Control Leader and is responsible for implementation of followings:
Provide guidance on internal control review activities for all business processes of NSRP;
Work closely with risk management officer to oversee potential risks in the organization and mange it with appropriate control activities;
Work with the first line business units to identify opportunities to refine and improve the current control environment;
Assist Senior Leader with other special projects as directed by Management
Conduct reviews of assigned organizational and functional activities to define, analyze and document processes, risks and controls;
Prepare annual internal control plan and other demand management programs;
Design internal control activities for all business processes and appropriate testing procedures to ensure its effectiveness
Develop reports for testing and reporting practices and other ad hoc deliverables required;
Execute the annual internal control plan and perform additional testing and reporting work required the demand programs;
Perform the testing procedures and evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of controls over activities reviewed; determine whether areas reviewed are performing their planning, accounting, custodial, or control activities in compliance with management instructions, applicable statements of policy and procedures, and in a manner consistent with organizational objectives;
Plan the approach and scope of the testing/reviewing and design the testing/reviewing program;

*** Educational Level:
+ University graduated in Accounting, Auditing, Finance, Business;
*** Work Experience:
+ Minimum 3 years of working experience in oil and gas sector;
+ Minimum 3 years of working for international company and/or joint venture project.
+ At least 5 years of experience in the following disciplines: auditing (internal/external), internal control, management consulting (e.g. public accounting / professional services firm);
*** Specialty/Qualification:
+ A demonstrated knowledge of internal controls, process documentation, analysis and evaluation, risk assessment;
+ Have knowledge about international internal control standards & guidelines such as COSO, ISO, International Sustainability Rating System (ISRS), etc.;
*** Skills :
+ Ability to work in team and transfer knowledge.
+ Good organizational and time management skills;
+ Problem solving skills;
+ Communication and presentation skills;
+ Demonstrated “can do” attitude with fast learning ability and resilient character with ability to manage expectations;
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (particularly Excel, Word, Vision and PowerPoint); experience in flowcharting is a plus;
+ Good at English;
+ Knowledge and skill of business operation in oil and gas industry;
+ Analytical skills and detailed oriented;
+ Good report writing skills; experience in writing internal policies and procedures/ process documentation is a plus;
