Azerai Ke Ga Bay in Lam Dong Province seeks a suitably qualified candidate for the role of Senior Sales Manager. To be responsible for developing long- term sales strategies, setting key performance indicators (KPIs), optimizing sales processes, and developing relationships with strategic clients to expand the market and grow business segments of this award- winning resort.
Azerai is a recent luxury brand founded by Adrian Zecha who is best known for developing exceptional properties & Brands such as world- renowned Aman Resorts, Regent International Hotels, and GHM. He has now added Azerai to this portfolio as a new creative venture.
Responsibilities:
• Review existing and initiate new departmental policies as required. Submit monthly report to the General Manager detailing sales activities for the past month and planned activities in the ensuing month
• Conduct Departmental Orientation Programs for new employees to ensure they understand the policies and operations of the Resort.
• Assisting with existing and developing client relationships and new business opportunities
• Driving as much revenue as possible through the company&039;s distribution channels
• Formulate business plans, implement effective sales strategies, and conduct business reviews to increase revenue for the company&039;s resort and the brand
• Manages a niche database of key luxury travel clients in new and emerging markets within Asia Pacific including Australia, Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, Korea, Hanoi, Ho Chi Min, and Bangkok.
• Monitoring competitive activities by constantly improving market intelligence and by implementing pro‐active sales initiatives
• Business development in generating new leads, while leveraging on existing contacts to ensure continued business.
• Attend meetings and briefings with other Department Heads as determined by the General Manager.
• Plays a lead role in Revenue Management and Reservations in accurately forecasting seasonal trends, market segmentation, and business on the books.
• Assist in the building of an efficient team of employees by taking an active interest in their welfare, safety, training, and development
• Ensure that the Budget is strictly adhered to and that all costs are strictly controlled
• Leads, manages, and directs the Sales team, and Co- ordinate the Reservations team in ensuring that individual targets, budgeted revenues, and goals are achieved.
• P&L responsibilities, including managing all A&P, annual sales budgets ‐ including monthly forecasting etc.
• Provides strategic direction in identifying and implementing Sales initiatives as per the annual Sales Plan and annual budgets.
• Develops and maintains strategic alliances with corporate and/or leisure retail and wholesale agencies, travel management companies, consortia, MICE, and direct consumer groups
• Ensure that all departmental reports and correspondence are completed punctually and accurately.
• Leads all selling strategies, yield management, and rate / inventory control to ensure revenue optimization whilst protecting brand and hotel position.

International experience is desirable but not essential.
Enthusiastic, dynamic, persistent, honest in work.
Prior experience as a Senior Sales Manager or equivalent for 3 years in luxury resorts; has strengths in TA and OTA segments.
A Degree/ Diploma in Business Administration, Economics, Tourism/Hospitality Management or equivalent; Strong financial acumen
Fluency in English with excellent interpersonal communication and leadership skills
Have skills in building, managing, and training teams;
Good communication, persuasion, sales consulting, reporting, negotiation, and situation- handling skills;
Vietnamese National required or Expat with proven Vietnamese luxury experience
30- 45 Years of Age; Can business travel;
