Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Responsibilities:

Enhance System Resilience: Proactively address potential failures and minimize downtime through effective strategies.
Cloud Infrastructure: Oversee cloud operations on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, focusing on high availability.
Automate Processes: Identify and implement automation opportunities to streamline SRE and DevOps practices.
Optimize Monitoring & Alerting: Develop robust systems to monitor and maintain system health, ensuring SLAs are met.
Architect Reliability Solutions: Design and implement SRE practices to ensure system availability, scalability, and performance.
Lead Incident Management: Respond to incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and develop runbooks for future prevention.
Other assignments by Leader/Manager.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Implement and maintain IaC solutions using tools like Terraform or Ansible for consistent deployments.

General requirements:

Strong leadership and project management skills.
Advanced level of English.
Excellent problem- solving and troubleshooting abilities, communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast- paced and dynamic environment.
5+ years of experience in a similar SRE Engineer role.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies.

Technical Requirements:

Proven experience in automating software delivery pipelines using CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools like SonarQube, Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK Stack.
Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
Experience with cloud infrastructure platforms (AWS, Azure).
Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, Powershell Or Go.
