The Opportunity
This role requires someone who thrives with autonomy and creative problem- solving, takes ownership, and excels in a fast- paced startup setting. You’ll shape our technical architecture, establish engineering standards, and directly impact product direction.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll work at the intersection of healthcare, technology, and empathy. You’ll help build a suite of tools and services that support clinicians, caregivers, and patients across the U.S., all powered by a secure, intelligent, and scalable backend.
What You’ll Be Doing

Share your knowledge with teammates and make long- term technical decisions
Work closely with U.S. leadership to turn business needs into technical solutions
Guide features from initial idea all the way to users’ hands
Adapt quickly to changing priorities while keeping code quality high
Solve problems when requirements aren’t crystal clear and make smart architectural decisions
Establish and improve engineering habits for CI/CD, monitoring, security, and performance

Here’s What Would Set You Up for Success

8+ years in software engineering
Strong in Java (Spring Boot or similar frameworks) and TypeScript (backend)
Cloud- native development on AWS, GCP, or Azure
Experience in microservices and API design (REST/GraphQL)
Proven track record delivering production SaaS platforms
Solid database design for distributed systems (SQL & NoSQL)
Skilled with React, Redux, and ES6+ (frontend)
DevOps: Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD automation, and cloud security best practices

Bonus points for:

Open source contributions
Startup or high- growth company experience
Healthcare or regulated industry background
