Brainstorming
- Come up with a Big Idea: From a "Standard Brief", the Planner needs to research and analyze related information to develop the Creative Idea. This idea has to be strong enough to build an effective event that meets the client&039;s Key Message and Goals.
- Identify important information from the client&039;s brief: The client&039;s brief can be clear requirements but also can be vague desires. With Account Team, the Planner has to understand their needs and event preferences and then filter their information into a "Standard Brief" for the Internal Project Team.
Proposal Development
- Work in collaboration with internal teams to ensure the Big Idea is well- facilitated:
Propose Creative Direction: Based on brainstorming ideas, present and discuss with the Creative team for the best design direction, then follow to ensure designs are in- line with the overall Big Idea.
Develop Execution Plan: Collaborate with Account, Operation, and Production Teams to develop the implementation ideas, strategies, and activity flows, ensuring those can be turned into a living event as well as satisfy the client&039;s goals.
- Make a Unique Proposal: Build and consolidate information from internal teams into a well- presented proposal, according to the Big Idea and the client&039;s correct brand guidelines within the required time.
Presentation
- “Feedback Cycle”: With a warm heart and a cool head, keep up the mind to get client feedback, draft- up the presentation meeting result to define the next steps with the internal team, and make necessary adjustment until the directions are selected by the clients.
- Become a "Story Teller": Present and convince clients to choose your proposal. Make your proposal more interesting by turning it into a story and the main actor is the client. Clearly explain proposed ideas/solutions to satisfy clients’ concerns.
