Senior Structure Engineer

Function:

Support Structure Team to manage and check structures which comply with the strength, function, safety, durability and economical criteria established for a specified project.

​Duties:

· Use computer-assisted design software and equipment to prepare project designs and plans.
· Create schematic designs, check drawings and review plans.
· Plan layout of project and integrates engineering elements into a unified design.
· Analyse calculations and the performance of structural designs using standards and governing codes, engineering formulas and experience.
· Coordination with other sections such as electrical, mechanical, architectural, etc.
· Review and check the shop drawings completed by subordinates.
· Lead and manage structure design team by organization, schedule and checking to coordinate with other M&E and Architect Teams for a whole project design.
. All other duties as directed by Design Director.

Technical &General Skills:

· Use graphic instructions, such as blueprints, schematic drawings, or other visual aids.
· Proficiency at AutoCAD, Etab or Sap, Safe
· Use of engineering and drafting instruments and related equipment. Planning, mathematical and technical skills.
. Modern methods, techniques and design concepts as applied to the design and construction of public buildings.      

Experience:

* ​Required:

Knowledge of construction materials, methods and processes used in Vietnam
Experience in checking structure drawings and managing several large scale projects.
Over 10 years experience in structural engineering and 05 years experience in the same position.
Knowledge of Vietnamese Building Codes, Standards and Regulations.

*Preferred
Experience in High-rise building design.
Experience in Building Cost Estimate.
Experience in developing drawings.

Education:

Bachelor/Master degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering.

Behavioral Skills:

Good communication skill          ​
