Lumera is a software company that develops business systems for the Life and Pensions industry. We’re the market leader in the Nordics and we’re expanding into Europe. Our team of 350 in Sweden, Norway, Netherlands & the United Kingdom is growing as we add more talented, engaged, and exceptional people. We are all waiting for you!
Note:

What will you do?
Initially, you will be assisting in designing API’s that the framework will use, this might be directly into the new Lumera Advanced Integration Application or through an API manager; in both cases the primary programming language is Java. The client applications are built in React using Redux and Micro frontends and the Front Ends are built using Angular. Knowledge and experience of these front ends is a bonus but certainly not a necessity.
The entire Lumera Core system is built using Java so you could end up in another team following a specific interest or business need over time and you will have the opportunity to work with colleagues based in Hanoi who are doing some of that work.
You will be part of the team building the web portal framework – which integrates with into the main business system – with members both in Sweden, United Kingdom, and Vietnam. Together you will work on architectural design, extend the functionality as well as building web applications using the resulting framework.
In this role you will:
Support what you build.
Write well- designed, robust code.
Be honest. When you think your colleagues are wrong – let them know your opinion.
In collaboration with the team, design robust architectural solutions.
Take ownership – ownership of the parts of the system that you understand and build.
