Senior Technical Designer (Garment/Apparel)

Performance Objective
Technical Knowledge:

Monitor and oversee workflow to guarantee the timely completion of each delivery according to the production calendar.
Effectively communicate issues related to fit, construction, and workmanship to business partners, ensuring thorough follow- up during the fit approval process.
Clearly interpret specification packages, including accurate grade rules and non- standard construction details.

Communication:

Articulate technical information clearly and professionally when communicating with the team and all business partners.
Collaborate with business partners to apply block patterns and specification standards, ensuring the maintenance of brand integrity and size/fit consistency.

Knowledgeable about garment construction and various manufacturing methods.
Advantageous to have experience in pattern- making and grading.
Possess 2- 5 years of experience in the Garment/Apparel industry.
Proactively troubleshoot and problem- solve.
Demonstrate a solid understanding of garment construction.
Technical education in garment fit and construction, preferably to degree level, or certification in Patternmaking, Apparel Manufacturing, or Design.
Preferably hold a Bachelor’s degree in fashion design/garment technology.
Capable of managing multiple tasks with a keen sense of urgency.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and verbal/written communication skills.
