Senior Testing Lab Engineer

• Manage the testing laboratory operations for in-house test requests efficiently and aligned with customer test protocols and international
standards.
• Assures that test reports are delivered on-time and of the highest quality including system uploading.
. Helps support on failure analysis and releases report trends.
• Set up and implements testing lab guidelines on health & safety and overall security.
• Assures that test lab Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met within target costs.
• Directly supervises two (2) test lab technicians and their performance and assuring continuous training and development.
• Develops standard operating procedures and report formats that are audit-ready.
• Keeps track of test machines utilization, maintenance history and calibration and provide regular status updates.
• Implements 5S / Workplace Organization at all times.
• Initiates plans and prepares the lab for future certifications / accreditations.

• 3+ years working on market and regulatory compliance in the furniture industry.
• 5+ years of work experience in a Hardlines Testing Laboratory in a leadership position.
. Experience on quality control and quality assurance is a plus.
• Attention to details and being results-oriented is a must have.
• Has a good understanding of basic furniture construction and processes.
• Understands or previously implemented 5S/ Kaizen as workplace organizational tools.
• Can work independently with minimal supervision and is a self-starter.
• Analytical and skilled in problem solving. Experience in 8 Discipline (8D) or Basic QC tools is a plus.
• Very good organizational skills.
• In-depth knowledge on test lab equipment operations, safety & maintenance and standard procedures.
• Advanced English speaking and Vietnamese native
• Above average working knowledge on basic office software and ERP experience.
Note: live or able to relocate to Binh Duong, Bau Bang District
