Senior Translator (Chinese +Japanese + English)

Our Translation service providing team is looking for a Japanese and Chinese Translator to work in our office in Vietnam. You will be final responsibility for the quality of translations of Engineering, Technical and Infrastructure, Automotive Manufacturer safety regulations, etc. contents from English into Japanese/Chinese and vice versa. We are looking for talented individuals to fill a variety of roles within our IT enabled service team to support our internal and global Clients.
Your focus:

Perform translation for documentations (e- mails, technical specifications, minutes of meeting etc.) from Chinese language to English and vice versa.
Be independent and well collaborate with the team, review and mentor for the Junior member, and have good co- ordination skills with vendor. Playing key role in Translation activities to work directly with the Clients for request receipt, clarification and manage the tasks with close collaboration among the team members.
Train, and manage a team of qualified freelance translators that can be engaged should volume and time constraints require it
Build and manage terminology resources such as glossaries, style guides, and translation memory files
Compare price quotes from vendor and select the best possible vendor to meet the quality, cost and delivery deadlines agreed with customer from case to case basis.
Work in liaison with professional translation agency in managing translation tasks assigned and ensure the quality of output from vendors meet the customer requirement.

Japanese N2, Chinese HSK5 or above with good speaking and writing skills.
Background in Language major or Business management
Well versed in using office applications (Excel, word, PowerPoint).
At least 3 years of translation and interpreter experiences from Chinese/Japanese to English & vice versa.
ITIL and PMO know how
High team work spirit.
Proficient in English in both speaking and writing skills.
