RESPONSIBILITIES
Planning and Inventory Control
Customer insight.
Respond to customers accurately and timely.
Plan capacity to meet customer demand.
Best use of planning tools to optimize manufacturing cost, inventory and be more flexible.
Maximize revenue via meeting OTIF requested from customer with optimized cost and best customer service as well, including but not limit.
Keep an appropriate inventory to meet target.
Purchasing
Develop suppliers toward smaller (MOQ, of supplier), faster (lead- time), more flexible, better cost with the appropriate quality/services.
Negotiate most suitable cost via deeply understanding our specifications, supply base knowledge, negotiation skill and integrity.
Search alternatives (material, supplier).
Expend wisely in acquiring materials, equipment sufficiently in term of quantity, time, quality with most suitable cost to support business in advanced competition of price, lead- time. It includes but not limit.
Import/Export
All the inbound/outbound shipments are tracked and received/shipped on time.
All the customs reports, scrap table reports… (including but not limited) related to customs are controlled and submitted on time.
All laws, regulations, Company and local policies and procedures are understood and complied with.
Optimize freight cost.
Warehousing
Maintain stock items in good condition and accurately to prevent broken and mixed material to production.
EHS compliance
Supervision, Management and Leadership
Ensure the Performance Management Process is fully operating with meaningful stretch goals for all employees in your organization, that feedback is on- going and focused on development and done with 100% On Time Delivery.
Ensure a free flow of two- way information for your organization to work effectively and communication channels are active and open.
Ensure a learning environment is in place and your team is trained and developed to consistently achieve your organization’s expectations in both the short and long terms.
Ensure your team is staffed, motivated, inspired, engaged and empowered to deliver a high and sustainable performance level in an ever- changing environment at a cost level the organization can sustain and reflects market realities.
Ensure the spirit and intent of all employment laws and regulations and company and local HR policies and procedures are understood and complied with in your area.
Supervision, Management and Leadership 20%
Ensure an accident- free environment by following all EH&S policies and procedures, maintain a clean, safe and orderly environment and openly endorsing and creating an attitude that all accidents are preventable within your sphere of influence.
Ensure you have the right people in the right jobs, by consistently using proper interview and selection techniques and methodologies throughout your organization.
REQUIREMENTS
Good project management skills, including strong decision- making, problem- solving and strategic planning abilities.
Comfortable using inventory management software and other organizational computer application.
Purchasing Ethics.
Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls.
Excellent time management and organization skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in both English and Vietnamese.
In- depth understanding of industry and company best practices for the warehouse.
Good leadership skills, including the abilities to set goals, motivate and manage conflict.
Familiarity with bookkeeping, inventory control practices and logistics
