About Damen Song Cam Shipyard
Damen Song Cam is a joint venture between Damen Shipyards Group (Netherlands) and Song Cam Shipyard (Vietnam), located in Hai Phong. As a strategic production hub, we deliver around 40 vessels per year to clients around the world.
This position is part of our growing Shared Services initiative, providing centralized support (office- related services) to various Damen entities globally, with a focus on the Netherlands. In the future, this role will formally integrate into the Damen Global Shared Services Organization.
Position Purpose
As Shared Services Manager, you will be responsible for setting up, managing, and continuously improving shared service functions such as Accounting, Reporting & Analytics, Human Resources, and other administrative services. You will ensure efficient operations, high service quality, compliance, and strong collaboration with internal stakeholders worldwide.
This is a strategic role with both operational and leadership responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Relationship:
Build strong relationships with stakeholders and business units. Identify improvement opportunities and enhance customer experience.
Contract Management:
Manage service agreements, ensure accurate billing and settlement.
Resource Management
Plan and manage budgets, team capacity, and service allocations.
Financial Control:
Oversee cost calculations, post- calculations, and financial coverage.
Performance Monitoring:
Define KPIs, track performance, and drive improvements & automation initiatives.
Service Marketing:
Promote available services internally and identify opportunities for expansion.
Compliance & Audit:
Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations. Coordinate audits and implement recommendations.
Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor shared services teams. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Travel:
Willingness to travel regularly to Europe and other Damen locations as needed.
Other:
Perform additional tasks as assigned by top management.
