JICA Japanese Enterprises Proposing Program (JEPP) aims to support overseas businesses of Japanese private enterprises, mainly Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). There are variety of the technologies and know- hows held by Japanese SMEs which are potentially able to be effectively utilized to resolve the development issues. JEPP aims at achieving mutually beneficial (WIN- WIN) business coordination in- between developing countries and Japanese private enterprises located in various regions of Japan that have unique technology and know- how. JICA calls for the proposals of sustainable business in developing countries from Japanese private enterprises and organizations in order to fully take advantage of their know- hows and new ideas. JICA believes that, on the top of other types of technical and financial cooperation, facilitation and dissemination of such technologies and know- hows to each of the developing countries will help them to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and contribute to the private sector development.
JICA is now seeking qualified and experienced candidates for the Short term Support Staff for JICA Japanese Enterprises Proposing Program.
The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) is one of the largest bilateral donor agencies in the world and is in charge of implementing Japan&039;s Official Development Assistance (ODA) programs. JICA is carrying out a wide array of programs in the field of economic development, health, rural development, environment, governance, and among others, for supporting social and economic development of Vietnam.
The Support Staff for JICA JEPP is expected to contribute to strengthening the management of the program and projects through:
(1) Supporting each individual project under JEPP
- To coordinate and participate in meetings between JICA representatives and Japanese private enterprises or Vietnamese counterparts for formulating/implementing/ following- up projects under JEPP, interpret into Japanese, Vietnamese and English language, and take minutes of the meeting in order to ensure the mutual understandings among participants.
- To participate in various events related to the projects, and produce necessary reports in Japanese language.
(2) General administrative tasks
- To receive phone calls, arrange logistics for domestic business trip and for missions from Japan, scan documents, make copies, etc.
(3) Market research
- To collect relevant information from Vietnamese information sources and translate into Japanese for producing internal documents.

(4) Performing other related tasks requested by the Office
