As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Site General Director to lead our manufacturing facility and drive operational excellence
Job Responsibilities
Lead and manage all aspects of the manufacturing site, including production, quality assurance, maintenance, safety, and logistics.
Lead and motivate a diverse team of manufacturing professionals, providing coaching, feedback, and support to drive performance and achieve goals.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize site performance, improve efficiency, and reduce costs while maintaining the highest standards of product quality and safety.
Manage relationships with suppliers, contractors, and other external partners to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes, increase productivity, and enhance overall site efficiency.
Prepare regular reports and updates for senior management, highlighting site performance, achievements, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge, promote a culture of continuous learning and development.
Collaborate with cross- functional teams, including R&D, supply chain, sales, and marketing, to support new product introductions and address customer requirements.
Establish production goals, targets, and KPIs in alignment with company objectives, and monitor performance against these metrics.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies related to food safety, quality assurance, and environmental management.
We are looking for a strategic and results- driven Site General Director to oversee all aspects of our food processing manufacturing site. The Site General Director will be responsible for maximizing efficiency, quality, and safety while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Experience Requirements
Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve operational excellence.
Familiarity with food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP) and regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, USDA).
Excellent problem- solving and decision- making abilities, with a strategic mindset and a focus on results.
Ability to thrive in a fast- paced and dynamic environment, with a passion for innovation and excellence.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in food manufacturing, with at least 5 years of experience in a leadership role.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Experience in implementing lean manufacturing principles and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Strong knowledge of food processing operations, quality management systems, and regulatory requirements.
Education requirements
Bachelor&039;s degree in food science, engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
