Are you interested in consulting an innovative hospitality business (coworking) during a critical time of transformation? Hub Hoi An is changing it&039;s management from owner- managed to hiring a general manager. For GM selection, training, owner- manager relationship setup and operational improvements (processes etc) we&039;re looking for a talented consultant with experience in very small businesses (5- 10 staff), leadership and basic small business structures.
Responsibilities
Assess current operations and identify areas for improvement in processes, automation, and leadership
Coach and mentor the new general manager and owner to establish an effective working relationship
Collaborate with the owner to hire and train a new general manager
Facilitate the creation of a productive and efficient work environment for the coworking space staff
Provide guidance on best practices for small business management and leadership development
Develop and implement strategies to optimize internal structures, including booking, admin, finances and task/project management
Qualifications
Adaptability and creative problem- solving skills in resource- constrained environments
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
Experience in hospitality (restaurants, hotels, coworking, related businesses) is a plus
Proven experience in consulting for very small businesses (5- 10 people) at the leadership level
Very strong fluency in English is required (main working language); proficiency in Vietnamese is a significant advantage
Strong track record of successful leadership hiring, training, and development
Expertise in optimizing operational processes and implementing efficient structures
Familiarity with the unique challenges and opportunities of very small businesses
