Job Overview
This role sits at the intersection of Product, Nutrition, and Marketing, ensuring that user insights are consistently shared and integrated into our roadmap.
As the Social Engagement & Community Growth Executive, you will be the voice of Wao, directly engaging with our users across all channels (Facebook, TikTok, Threads, forums, and more). You will ensure that every question and concern is addressed promptly and thoroughly, turning user interactions into positive experiences that strengthen loyalty and encourage growth. In addition, you’ll play a key role in developing and executing seeding strategies across relevant online communities to boost app downloads and build Wao’s brand awareness in Vietnam.
Key Responsibilities
• Partner with the product and nutrition teams to ensure accurate, informative, and helpful responses to technical or nutrition- related questions.
• Build relationships and engage with relevant online communities to foster positive discussions about Wao.
• Collaborate closely with the marketing team to align messaging and campaigns with real user needs.
• Proactively identify recurring user questions, pain points, and trends to share with the product, nutrition, and marketing teams.
• Develop and execute a seeding plan for forums, Facebook groups, TikTok comments, and other relevant communities to drive brand awareness, user growth, and downloads.
• Track and report on user engagement, feedback, and seeding outcomes to continuously refine strategies.
• Stay updated on trends in health and nutrition apps, and identify new opportunities for seeding and brand visibility in the Vietnamese market.
• Respond to user inquiries and feedback across all social media channels (Facebook, TikTok, Threads, etc.) and app store reviews, ensuring a high level of user satisfaction.
Who You Are
• Proactive, resourceful, and results- driven, with a strong ability to multitask.
• A team player who thrives in a fast- paced, evolving startup environment.
• 1- 3 years of experience in customer engagement, social media moderation, or community management roles (experience with health, wellness, or consumer apps is a plus).
• Passionate about building meaningful connections with users and turning feedback into actionable insights.
• Deep familiarity with Vietnamese online communities and social media culture.
• Comfortable using social media management tools, basic analytics tools, and collaborating across teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Vietnamese.
