Software Developer (Java, Spring)

As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

Participate in the development of new features and enhancements to existing software applications
Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications using Java and Spring technologies
Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members
Participate in code reviews and ensure that the code meets company standards and best practices
Stay up- to- date with the latest trends and technologies in Java development and Spring Framework
Debug and troubleshoot issues with software applications using various tools and techniques
Collaborate with cross- functional teams, including QA, DevOps, and IT teams to ensure seamless integration of software applications

Excellent problem- solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Proficiency in Java 8 or later
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Good command of spoken and written English
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
Experience with database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle
At least 4 years of experience in Java Development
Experience and knowledge in Insurance, Banking, Finance domains
Experience in Microservice

Degrees & Certifications:

Bachelor&039;s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or related field

Nice to have:

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD
Knowledge of security best practices for software development
Experience with cloud- based technologies such as AWS or Azure
Experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit or TestNG
Knowledge of containerization using Docker
