Software Developer (Native Android)

Summary:
•This position is for a native Android developer/software engineer for GrapeSEED – a company of GrapeCity
•You will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of an internationally utilized suite of web and mobile applications, which will be used by end users of GrapeSEED program worldwide.
•This position is also responsible for adhering to and promoting the company’s vision and values by performing duties in a manner that is consistent with being a team player and supporting the continued growth of the company.
Primary Duties:
•Participate in the development and maintenance of our mobile applications and other software
•Work in cooperation with other developers for design and implementation of new projects
•Assist in customer support and with other teams/groups as needed
•Other duties as assigned in support of the organization

Education and/or Experience:
•Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience
•Minimum of 2 years of software development experience
•Minimum of 1 year of experience with native Android development
Specialized Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
•Experience with native Android development, design, troubleshooting, and deployment
•Strong understanding of Android core framework and modern Android application architecture
•Experience developing with all layers of an Android application
•Any experience with cross-platform mobile languages like React Native is beneficial
•Experience with ReactJS or a similar JavaScript frameworks is beneficial
•Proficient in reading and understanding requirements in English
•Basic skills writing, speaking, and listening in English
•Knowledge of software development tools such as Visual Studio
•Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
•Possess a high standard of ethical conduct
