SCOPE OF WORK
As a Software Engineer Intern- Full- Stack, you’ll engage with both front- end and back- end systems in our AI- driven environment, supporting multiple product modules (e.g., learner portals, admin dashboards, AI integrations). You’ll work closely with cross- functional teams (Product, UI/UX, AI, DevOps) to build robust, scalable, and user- friendly solutions. Key responsibilities include:
Front- End Development
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes into responsive, modular components.
- Implement user interfaces with frameworks like React or Next.js, ensuring visually appealing designs and intuitive flows.
- Optimize client- side performance and SEO (where relevant) through best practices in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
Back- End Development
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs or microservices using Node.js (Express) or Flask (Python), integrating with databases and AI modules.
- Manage data flow between front- end and back- end, defining clear data contracts and ensuring consistent, secure data handling.
- Implement authentication, authorization, and system security measures to protect sensitive user data.
Database & Infrastructure
- Contribute to DevOps processes: CI/CD pipelines, Docker containerization, cloud services (AWS/GCP) for efficient deployments.
- Work with SQL or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB) to store and retrieve content, analytics, and user data.
Performance, Scalability, & Troubleshooting
- Implement logging and error monitoring to diagnose issues, maintaining a seamless user experience across all devices.
- Monitor both front- end and back- end performance, identify bottlenecks, and propose technical solutions to ensure reliability under varying loads.
Agile Collaboration & Continuous Learning
- Participate in stand- ups, sprint planning, code reviews, and retrospectives, adapting to changing requirements and project priorities.
- Stay updated on full- stack trends (e.g., Node.js, Flask, React, Next.js, etc.), employing best practices in your code and processes.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
We’re seeking a driven, flexible individual who thrives on end- to- end development, from pixel- perfect interfaces to robust back- end logic. You’ll do well if you:
- Collaborate & Communicate: Can explain technical details to varied stakeholders (designers, product owners, AI engineers) and absorb feedback gracefully.
- Basic Experience in Web Dev: Some exposure to front- end (React, Next.js, Vue, or Angular) and back- end (Node.js, Python/Flask, etc.) ecosystems, plus version control (Git).
- Strong Analytical & Problem- Solving Skills: Approach challenges methodically, comfortable identifying and troubleshooting issues across the stack.
- Have a Growth Mindset: Eager to expand your skill set in both front- end and back- end, open to adopting new frameworks and tools.
- Interest in AI & EdTech: Excited about integrating advanced AI solutions into the user journey, shaping the future of work and learning.
Basic Requirements
- Bonus: Experience with DevOps (Docker, CI/CD) or cloud platforms (AWS, GCP), plus any personal projects demonstrating full- stack work.
- Able to commit at least 4 days/week over a 3–6 month internship.
- Familiar with at least one front- end framework (React, Next.js) and one back- end environment (Node.js, Python/Flask, Django, etc.).
- Currently pursuing (or recently graduated from) a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
