Software QA Engineer (Manual Tester)

POSITION SUMMARY
Your responsibilities include creating test plan, designing & implementing test cases, executing them to ensure product quality. You will also be involved into some early testing activities such as: reviewing software requirements, reviewing software high- level and detail- level technical, etc. as well as tracking some quality metrics (e.g., defect densities and open defect counts).
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

Identify, analyze, and report the test results in the test management system.
Provide needed support and documentation when requires.
Analyzing features, user stories (use cases or requirements) for validity and feasibility.
Collaborate closely with other team members and departments to provide/propose timely test ‘solution’.
Apply test engineering principals throughout the Agile product lifecycle.
Coordinate with different teams to perform integration or interfaces testing between multiple platform and environment.
Work closely with development team to design testing strategy, test approach with support from test leader or senior testers.
Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies in the defect tracking system.
Develop, maintain, and execute test cases for major products.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Certification in Testing (e.x: ISTQB…) is desirable.
Prepares quality reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing data
At least +2 years of experience in creating test plan, test case (test scenario), test design and related test documents
High learning ability skills, be able to motivate other, understand the human factors
Familiar with executing System Test, Integration Test, Functional and Non- Functional tests
Be familiar with Agile process and Scrum/Kanban model
Having knowledge about web/web service automation test, continuous integration (Jenkins to be specific), continuous delivery
Good at communication skills and exposure to international work environment
Having experience of working with Linux system, able to understand or write the shell script.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
