Software Testing Leader

About the position
You&039;ll be part of WizzCommerce, a subsidiary specializing in developing products for the Shopify platform. Our products serve thousands of Shopify merchants around the globe.
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Software Tester Lead to join our team. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for building and leading a high- performing testing team, ensuring the quality and functionality of our Shopify apps before they are released to thousands of merchants worldwide. You will set the testing strategy, define best practices, and mentor junior testers, contributing significantly to the overall success of our apps.
Responsibilities

Collaborate with other stakeholders (e.g., developers, product managers) to ensure timely and effective testing.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing processes.
Stay up- to- date with the latest testing tools, methodologies, and best practices.
Lead and manage a team of software testers.
Conduct peer reviews of test artifacts.
Mentor and coach junior testers.
Define and implement a comprehensive testing strategy for our Shopify apps.
Develop and maintain test plans and test cases.

Intermediate level of English.
Strong understanding of Shopify app testing or similar e- commerce platforms.
Experience with bug tracking tools is a plus.
In- depth knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Experience with performance testing is a plus.
Experience with test automation frameworks is a plus.
Proven track record of building and leading high- performing testing teams.
5+ years of experience as a software tester, including leadership experience.
