Solar Power Design Engineer

ROLE:
Electrical Engineer will be responsible for all activities involving design, engineering, technology and optimizing PV system projects. This role requires a strong technical background in solar energy, leadership skills, and the ability to drive innovation and efficiency within the engineering department.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead and participate in plans and procedures for Rooftop Solar (RTS) / BESS build up technical requirements and specifications;
Responsible for site survey, conceptual design, irradiation analysis (PVSyst), master plan, system configuration, efficiency analysis, detailed construction design and final BOQ for RTS projects;
Apply advanced engineering principles and practices, local codes, regulations, and industry standards to the design, development, and optimization of RTS project;
Research and propose new products. Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.

Planning, Leadership and responsibility for tasks and projects;
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, PVsyst, and other relevant software for creating technical drawings & calculations, Microsoft Office suits.
Excellent problem- solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.
Experience: 1+ years of experience in design of PV solar systems/ rooftop solar systems / BESS
Education: Bachelor/Engineer Electrical Engineering.
