The Sourcing Leader is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies to optimize the supply chain, reduce costs, and ensure the timely delivery of high- quality materials and services. This role involves leading a team of sourcing professionals, managing supplier relationships, and collaborating with cross- functional teams to support the company&039;s operational and strategic goals.
· Collaborate with cross- functional teams (e.g., Finance, Operations, NPI) to streamline procurement processes.
· Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of sourcing strategies and supplier performance.
· Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and contracts while maintaining strong partnerships.
· Lead and mentor a team of professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
· Monitor budgets and expenditures, ensuring procurement activities remain within financial targets.
· Identify and build relationships with key suppliers and vendors based on quality, reliability, service, and cost.
· Ensure that the procurement activities are supportive of the company’s sustainability and social responsibility initiatives.
· Ensure compliance with procurement policies, regulations, and ethical standards.
