• To report any guest comments or complaints to the Spa Supervisor as soon as convenient. In the absence of the Spa Supervisor, guest comments should be reported to the Director of Spa & Wellness.
• Always enhances guest recognition by addressing guests by name and interacting with them on a professional level.
• To contribute to the morale and team spirit of company by maintaining excellent work collaboration and relationships among associates within the company and resort.
• Carries out daily general cleaning of all areas of the changing areas, washrooms, and Spa public areas in accordance with departmental standards under the direct management of Spa Supervisor.
• Performs any other reasonable tasks as directed by the superior and responsibilities as assigned.
• Accepts responsibility for, and to show initiative in decision making when handling minor guest objections, to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Ensures that Spa ambience set up is in accordance with departmental standards.
• Attends all scheduled training, even if this should fall outside of regular working hours.
• Ensures that correct quantity of cleaned linen is received from laundry.
• Prepares and serves cold towels as directed.
• Checks that all spa areas, washrooms, and Spa public areas are in good working order, and to report defects to the Spa Supervisor.
• Attends briefings and meetings as requested.
• Refers major guest objections to immediate superior to prevent further guest dissatisfaction.
• Report for duty punctually, always wearing the correct uniform and nametag.
• Reports lost & pound property to the Spa Supervisor & Director of Spa in accordance with resort’s procedure.
• Greet guests in accordance with the company’s unique Wafaifo policy. Escorts guests to the treatment rooms and serves beverages upon completion of the treatment.
• Ensures that an adequate supply of guest amenities and supplies are maintained and provided.
• Ensures that soiled linen is collected, sorted, and bagged in accordance with departmental procedure.
• Ensures that all equipment is cleaned, maintained, and handled in accordance with departmental standards, and what they are meant for.
• Demonstrates co- operation and trust with colleagues, supervisors, teams and across departments.
• Check and clear all spa fresh materials in the preparation area on a timely basis.
• Interacts with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels.
• Replace soiled linen in the changing rooms with clean ones.
• To check and maintain product supplies at the beginning and end of each day.
• Be fully conversant with Spa services and facilities to be able to make helpful recommendations, and to be able to up- sell Spa services and Spa products.
• To prepare, clean and tidy spa premises.
• Ensures that work quality meets the standards required and completes tasks in a timely and thorough manner with minimum supervision.
• Conducts inspections of the Spa areas as directed.
• To ensure spa grooming standards are adhered to and maintain personal appearance and hygiene.
• Has a complete understanding of the resort’s standards, policies, and procedures in respect to health, hygiene, and safety.
• Ensures that wastage of cleaning materials is kept to a minimum.
