• Promote all hotel services and outlets first and foremost.
• Update attendant communication boards daily, and read and sign memos weekly.
• Assist operational departments during need periods.
• Ensure efficient staffing levels for therapist and attendants by monitoring guest requests, turn- aways, occupancy levels and weekly work schedules.
• Promote a positive work environment for all colleagues.
• Assist with facilitating departmental meetings. \
• Ensure facility is prepared for proper opening and closing daily
• Responding to guests needs and anticipating their unstated ones
• Monitor and maintain supply levels of guest amenities, and retail inventory to ensure well stocked at all times.
• Schedule and confirm appointments, describe all services, obtain retail product knowledge, greet guest, provide tours of facility, answer phones, checking- in and checking- out guest.
• Ensuring and providing flawless, upscale, professional and high class guest service experiences
• Ensure pre- set budget guidelines are adhered to in regards to: cost of supplies, product usage, assessing inventory controls, and looking for cost savings.
• Assist with communications in regards to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, purchasing and vendor inquiries as needed.
• Maintain accurate records as required by the hotel and government regulations.
• Coordinate and schedule department meetings.
• Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the facilities including facility/amenities are in proper working order
• Coordinate training / onboarding of new attendants.
• Be knowledgeable and informed regarding spa and salon services, retail products, fitness programs, general property information, and resort outlets.
• Comply with all company policies and laws governing spa and salons establishments, reporting and addressing all health and safety hazards promptly to management.
• Handle and create schedules for spa attendants.
• Ensure prompt resolution of guest issues / concerns, colleague related issues, or other, by researching situations and using best judgment / company policy to resolve. Seek management assistance for difficult or challenging situations.
• Follow all safety procedures and practices and assist in emergency situations.
• Assist with handling payroll duties with accuracy adhering to timelines
• Maintain a positive relationship with all departments in the hotel.
• Provide back- up support to attendants including couching, counseling, guidance and help in achieving success in their respected roles
• Ensure all areas are properly cleaned, maintained and in safe, working order for guests and colleagues.
• Communicate any staffing issues, LOA, absences, events, or group inquiries to management to ensure appropriate staffing levels are maintained.
• Conduct pre- shift briefings.
• Monitoring appointments in Spa Software, ensuring daily booking procedures are followed, balancing is adjusted appropriately throughout the day
• Follow all standards as stated in the employee handbook.
• Ensure staff is adhering to all cost control procedures, quality improvement plans, or corrective action plans implemented to improve the department.
• Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service
• Assist with coordination of spa and fitness related events.
• Communicate with vendors as it relates to supplies, inventory levels, orders, pricing and training as needed.
• Handle and resolve staff inquiries and concerns.
• Attend brand ambassador and all department meetings, ensuring timely communication of pertinent information to other departments, colleagues or guests.
