SQE Engineer - Work at Cu Chi

Support sourcing team to audit & qualify potential suppliers.
Review engineering specifications and drawings to determine supplier’s abilities to meet parameters and reviews new and modified product designs from a material standpoint advising modifications when necessary.
Identify and prioritize suppliers who are lacking in performance and develop plan to visit/audit those suppliers for improvements.
Support NPD/NPI..(New Product Development) projects by focusing on new components’ quality part consistency.
Work with Engineering to drive technical document changes when needed.
Ensures suppliers meet TTI quality standards. Develop supplier to meet these quality requirements as needed.
Provide leadership on- site at supplier locations to drive team efforts and activities.

Follow up material quality issues found by IQC,MQA…in mass production and from customer complaint. Follow up with suppliers on 8D SCAR closure and effectiveness to prevent problem recurrence.
Verify report from suppliers (8D,inspection report, test report, etc.); review supplier&039;s documents (process, WI, quality plan, records, etc).
Assist Purchasing and customer service to expedite product from suppliers in urgent situations.
Prepare the weekly and monthly report to SQE Manager.
Hold meeting with supplier weekly or monthly to discuss any product quality issue / customer complaint, drive corrective action and follow up.

Education:

University degree in Mechanical Engineering
Experience Minimum 03 years experience for Manufacturing company.

Knowledge:
University degree in Mechanical Engineering or related CNC Engineering.
Minimum 2 years of experience on a position of Supplier Quality or Quality Engineer. Familiar with Six Sigma, ISO 9001, Quality methods and tools such as FMEA, Control Plan, PPAP, APQP, MSA, SPC, DOE, 8D, AQL Sampling etc.
Prefer to have reliability test experience; familiar with design for related
Knowledge about the metal material.
Knowledge about the process of machining, die casting, bearing, pressing, treatment, coating, spray…
reliability test items, conditions, failure analysis and report test status, etc.
Strong skills in problem analysis and solving.
Able to work independently and pro- actively.
Intermediate English reading, writing and speaking skills, Chinese skills
in advance.
PC skills required (MS Office, Outlook, etc.).Experience with ERP system
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
(e.g. SAP, Oracle) will be an advantage.
