Sr Back-End Python Engineer(Django REST Framework)

- Take ownership of features and improvements, overseeing the entire development cycle from initial ideation to production deployment.
- Collaborate with the team to develop and maintain the Django REST Framework, serving as the backend for an innovative mobile app.
- Work in an Agile environment, following SCRUM methodologies.
- Write, review, and test Python code for Django projects, ensuring code quality and adherence to best practices.
- Collaborate with cross- functional teams, including designers, front- end developers, and product managers.

What you must have:

Excellent problem- solving and debugging skills.
Experience with version control systems like GitHub and GitLab.
Proficiency in docker, Elasticsearch .
Strong experience with Python, Celery, and Django REST Framework.
Familiarity with google server.
Proficiency in Postgres SQL databases.

Nice to have:

Optimization of algorithms for massive data processing, parallel computing on GPUs
Good command of any ML framework (ideally Pytorch) and familiarity with managed ML servicesfrom leading cloud providers
Experience with C++/Rust/Golang
Strong proficient in English (written and verbal)
Knowledge of Agile development methodologies, specifically SCRUM.
Ability to lead your own BE Team
Practical experience with Kubernetes and ideally experiences with Helm
Interest in ML/AI, willingness to learn how ML frameworks work under the hood
