Sr./Lead Backend (Java/Python)

We are seeking a Senior/Lead Backend Engineer (Java/Python) passionate about building scalable, high- performance backend systems to support MoMo’s advanced fintech products.
You will:

Collaborate with project leaders and other stakeholders to get projects done on time with high quality;
Collaborate with cross- functional teams: Work closely with Product, Data, and AI teams to integrate Machine Learning systems, Data Platforms, and AI products into our payment platform.
Approach and research new technologies to apply to the company’s/team’s projects;
Design and develop: Build robust, scalable, and reliable backend systems using Java or Python, serving millions of users.
System architecture design: Contribute to designing microservices architecture and manage the full product lifecycle from design, deployment, to monitoring.
Optimize performance: Improve and maintain system performance to ensure load handling and reliability in a high- transaction environment.

The must- have
At least 3- 5 years of backend development experience with Java or Python.
Strong programming skills in Java/Kotlin.
Solid understanding of software design principles and design patterns.
A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Technology or a related field.
Strong understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.
Code Review: Ability to review code, identify bugs, and provide feedback to ensure code quality standards are met.
Familiarity with running large- scale microservices and high- performance services.
Strong Computer Science fundamentals in algorithms and data structures.
Code Quality: Focus on code quality and best practices, and ability to ensure code quality in the work.
Strong communication skills and collaboration skills.
The nice- to- have:
Experience with gRPC.
Tech Stack:
Experience with GCP and complex codebases.
Java,Python, Redis, HBase, ElasticSearch, Kafka, and BigQuery
