ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you’ll play a key role in helping to build and shape our SRE function. This role is responsible for ensuring agreement of service levels (eg SLIs, SLOs), continuous automation and improvement of the solution to meet these service levels.

What will your day look like?
You will be a role model for technical execution. You will take ownership of complex and ambiguous problems, and you will mentor other engineers through their challenges.
You will work collaboratively with other SRE leaders and teams across ANZx to continually drive down the cost of operations, increase efficiency, and build a strong reliability culture.
As a Senior SRE at ANZx, you will be instrumental in helping build out the medium to long term strategy of SRE within your domain.
We will turn to you for suggestions on how to improve the platforms, processes, and tools. We expect that you already have great ideas you can share at our cloud guilds & user groups, along with industry Meetups.
You will apply SRE principles to ensure that we build, monitor, and measure what is important.
You will need to be comfortable with constantly learning new tools and techniques along with running proof of concept evaluations to keep us on the leading edge.
