Structural Design Engineer

Joining a highly experienced professional team, your role will include:
•Preparation of detail structural designs for buildings, industry and infrastructure projects
•Produce structural design briefs, documents, reports and specifications as required.
•Make quality assurance of structural design, drawings and models before sending to Project Lead for final reviewing.
•Close collaboration with clients & other engineering disciplines to provide the best solutions
•Attending project meetings as necessary
•Running small projects or elements of larger schemes under the direction of senior staff
•Focusing on your own professional development

We are looking for a flexible, detail-oriented team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks, produce quality work, and consistently meet deadlines. The successful candidate must satisfy the following criteria:
•Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
•Ideally 5 years’ experience in structural design of steel and concrete structures
•Experience in use of Eurocodes, American code will be an advantage;
•High level of numeracy, analytical skill & attention to detail
•Active about finding proficient working process with quality focus
•Good written and verbal English communication skills.
Other Requirements:
•Experiences working in a European company environment is an advantage.
•Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and effective participation in team environment to meet deadline.
•A strong work ethic and a can-do attitude.
•Having good problem-solving ability
•Having a practical experience in the use of Microsoft Office, Autodesk Robot, and AutoCAD
•Having good communication skills and an ability to interact with Client representatives, team members and others as necessary to recognize and understand key project requirements;
•The capability to ensure that engineering designs are effectively translated into good quality drawings and specifications;
•Knowledge about BIM (Building Information modeling), 3D modelling tools such as Tekla structures, Autodesk Revit is an advantage
•Knowledge about programming language is an advantage and is encouraged to use at work
