Structural Engineer (Junior/Middle/Senior)

• Project Delivery Excellence: Analyse building structures to international codes and standards in all design stages. Prepare structural models and calculations using structural design software and spreadsheets and prepare structural calculations, professional analysis reports in German, English and Vietnamese language to international standard e.g. Eurocode, ACI, TCVN, etc. Correspond with team members in Vietnamese and English language. Create structural drawings and sketches. Keep fellow team members and the branch manager informed of workload and deadlines, to help with the delegation of work.
• Cross- Disciplinary and Team Collaboration: Work with and support structural BIM engineers in preparation of design drawings. Check that structural requirements from structural analysis reports have been correctly implemented into the drawings and models. Review MEP related openings and evaluate structural impact. Communicate with project related parties where necessary to coordinate technical matters. Maintain a high level of communication and team- work with Structural Drafters. Working alongside project managers to support day to day running of projects. Ensure designs and drawings are accurate, tie in with architectural drawings, and adhere to Design code used Standards. Assist Sales Team in the estimation of design works for proposals. Work
closely with Team leader or Project manager
• Other tasks assigned by Managers.
• Investigation and Supervision: Carry out structural surveys, site inspections and building investigations
• Quality Assurance: Review, validate and approve designs, providing clear technical feedback and ensuring alignment with internal quality standards, design codes, industry standards and client expectations. Take necessary actions to correct any shortcomings.
• Process Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in structural engineering, and incorporate them into project design and execution. Identify and implement design process enhancements to improve team efficiency and quality output.
• Training and Self- Development: Attend regular trainings. Provide career development plan to line manager and present results regularly. Undertake trainings for junior engineers or BIM Engineers. Prepare training material for trainings in engineering subjects
