Overview
Nisai Global School is an online school that provides an inclusive, social and student- focused community for every student. Through our own online platform, called the Nisai Virtual Academy, we provide learners from all backgrounds a bespoke education. Replicating a mainstream school in terms of student support, exam office, monitoring of progress, and attainment, we &039;respect the student&039; by providing a holistic approach to education which has proven necessary and successful for many.
Responsibilities
Customer & Student Support
- Distribute the end- of- term reports and half- term reports.
- Work with teachers to update the escalation cases, as well as keep in contact with parents/ customers to provide information in a timely manner.
- Communicate with parents/customers on a regular basis to ensure they are informed of any student issues.
- Authorised students who cannot attend lessons and inform teachers accordingly.
- Have 1- 1 sessions with students by request or by seeing a requirement for support, ensuring that a summary of the session is documented on the Personal Wellbeing Plan (PWP) system.
- Support a group of Asian students (around 25 – 35 students) regarding attendance, assignments, engagement, and communication in class.
- Ensure all phone calls/ text messages are answered in a timely and professional manner.
- Update PWP with student notes with any escalations to parents/customers or from information provided by the parents/customers.
- Re- directing phone calls or taking and passing on accurate messages for specific staff responsible for students&039; queries.
- Hold induction sessions for new students.
Academic
- Take charge of the Career Club for higher students to explore their abilities and interests for future jobs or majors.
- Work closely with students and parents to provide suitable University counselling sessions.
- Other duties as assigned by the Manager or school.
- Prepare support letter/recommendation letter for students.
- Support IGCSE/ A Levels students in applying for University/ College
Duties & Compliance
- Update and share positive feedback and case studies with the Marketing team, and other relevant departments.
- Ensure all company policies and procedures are adhered to.
- Ensure all communications are Data Protection compliant.
- Ensure that all company assets are protected.
- Providing support to other colleagues to ensure that all priorities are met.
- Ensure maximum knowledge of subjects and course specifications.
- Escalate any safeguarding issues in a timely and confidential manner.
- Participate and complete the NOCN Level 3 Teaching and Training course internally.
- Be aware of, and comply with, policies and procedures relating to child protection, health and safety, confidentiality, and data protection, reporting all concerns to an appropriate person.
- Carry out any other tasks given to ensure that high standards are maintained.
Requirements
- Willing to develop in the international education environment
- Ability to communicate and handle situations well
- Ability to organize data files in an organized and scientific way
- Experienced in international educational institutions; Studied abroad/ worked in Cambridge IGCSE, AS/A Levels is an advantage
- Ability to develop productive relationships with other teams around the network.
- English IELTS 7.0 or higher (preferred)
- Able to work to tight deadlines and multi- task effectively.

Working hours
- Mondays to Fridays: 9h00 to 17h30 (Work at the office)
*Work shift once a week from 11am – 1pm & 3pm- 8pm, during lesson time, to support and update students&039; requests promptly (work from home with personal devices)
- Saturdays: 14h00 to 17h00 (work from home with personal devices)
