Supplier Quality Engineer

*** Purpose of the Job/Job Mission:
Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) ensures that products and supplies from vendors and suppliers are high quality, free of damages and defects, and follow government, company, and manufacturing standards. Monitoring and evaluating Supplier product quality, internal production processes, by ensuring all the parts and process meets required quality standards consistently. Together with his team, developing and implementing quality control processes and tests, inspecting products at various stages, reporting, implementing sustainable corrective actions and controlling overall quality costs.
*** Essential Functions:
- Preparing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data.
- Visiting vendor facilities to ensure they uphold quality standards
- Ensuring that products adhere to quality standards.
- Providing advice to vendors on how to reduce defect rates
- Assessing products and supplies from vendors to ensure their quality
- Implementing methods to inspect, test and evaluate products in production equipment
- Ensuring suppliers for the company maintains all regulations and requirements
- Conducting vendor audits for existing vendors and during new supplier development.
- Leading other employees involved in assessing supplier quality standards
- Producing statistical reports on quality standards
- Developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers and vendors

- Min 3 years of experience in Supplier Quality
- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical/ Mechatronics Engineering or related technical fields.
- English level: Business level.
*** Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- A keen eye for detail and a result driven approach
- Analysis, critical- thinking and problem- solving skills to review systems, find flaws and derive solutions.
- Abilities and working knowledge of data analysis/ quality statistical methods.
- Familiarity with Quality standards and processes
- Skills and knowledge in Six Sigma to automate and increase the effectiveness of manufacturing processes
- Evaluate mechanical products & working with suppliers
- Ability to operate under deadlines, while still meeting standards.
- Communication skills to convey information in reports, meetings, and status reports.
*** Working location: Lot B4, Street No.6, Hoa Binh IZ, Nhi Thanh, Thu Thua, Long An
We have shuttle bus from HCM to Long An.
