The position contributes directly to the company’s strategic objectives by accelerating time- to- market, controlling product costs, developing a sustainable supplier ecosystem in line with ESG standards, and ensuring seamless end- to- end operations from sampling – production – finished goods.
The Supply Chain Director position is responsible for defining, organizing, and optimizing the company’s entire supply chain, including: Product Development, Sourcing & Purchasing, Production Management, Cost of Goods Management, Quality Management, and Supplier Management. This role serves as a critical link to ensure the company maintains a stable supply of materials, consistent product quality, accurate production timelines, optimized costs, and supply capabilities aligned with the brand’s long- term development strategy.
Supply Chain Strategy Development
- Develop short- term and long- term supply chain strategies, including:
+ Structuring the supplier system by region and product category
+ Capacity planning across the supply chain (from product development to mass production) to support business plans
Product Development Management
- Review and approve critical technical specifications before mass production
- Work closely with the Design and Merchandise to balance creativity, cost efficiency, and production feasibility
- Lead the Product Development Department to ensure samples are completed with required quality and within timelines
Quality Management & Production Risk Control
- Oversee quality standards for raw materials, semi- finished goods, and finished products
- Manage raw material purchasing activities to ensure transparency, cost optimization, and adequate supply for production
- Control risks related to product quality and production schedules
Supplier Development & Management
- Evaluate and classify suppliers across the entire supply chain (from R&D to Production)
- Manage supplier capacity, lead times, and quality performance
- Develop plans to expand and diversify the supplier base
- Implement ESG standards across the supplier network
Cost of Goods & Budget Management
- Approve purchasing plans
- Analyze cost efficiency
- Control product costs
- Drive optimization of consumption norms, technology adoption, and operational processes
People Management
- Develop and strengthen mid- level management capabilities
- Foster engagement and cohesion within the Supply Chain team
- Build, manage, and continuously optimize operational processes of the Supply Chain Department
