Main Purpose:
Support the development, adoption and sustainable implementation of the Supply Chain Strategy by assuring globally/ regionally consistent implementation, efficient execution and continuous improvement of the respective processes according to defined performance indicators.
Responsible for driving the digital transformation within Supply Chain by orchestrating the development of new capabilities in the Excellence teams for Planning, Deliver, Customer Service and Data Management.
The position is designed to drive and integrate the SCM strategic framework, drives excellence together with regional Supply Chain Excellence, facilitates the project prioritization and ensures consistency of integrated end-to-end Supply Chain Processes in Vietnam.
Supply Chain Excellence Process
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
- Understand latest external trends and best practices to both benchmark, capture and share best practices in Supply Chain community among the region and country teams
- Deploy global/ regional SCM Excellence guidelines in the country
- Understand the E2E SC process within Vietnam / key import & exporting countries to better harmonize existing processes, tools and systems
- Facilitates the SCM engagement, knowledge management, improve communication process for successful SCM implementation of E2E supply chain initiatives
Business Operations
- Drive the supply chain risk management strategy and develops mitigation measures to ensure supply security. Steers internal SCM audit management
- Support country to drive cost efficiencies through Supply Chain operational excellence
- Developing transparency dashboards, process to improve planning process efficiency and optimize working capital
- Support successful implementation of strategic supply chain initiatives in SEAP (T2W, digital transformation) and develop SC capabilities to support new business models (NBM) & Go to market models (G2M)
- Drives alignment with country leadership and stakeholders
Digital Transformation & Innovation
- Foster innovation, digitization and improve E2E supply chain visibility both CP and RC
- Foster data driven decisions, lead knowledge management and cultural change in supply chain team
- Support new business models by partnering with IT to drive the new technologies throughout the SCM organization
- Project management for internal Supply Chain and cross functions
Key Working Relations
• External: contractor, suppliers and manufactures Local and central authorities.
• Reports to VN Supply Chain Manager and SEAP Excellence Lead
• Internal: Regional SC Excellence Team, SCM Cluster Lead, Country Supply Chain operations teams, Regional Planning, Local Manufacturing & Quality communities, International Trade and Customs Compliance teams
