Supply Planning Officer

Understanding and managing risks to minimize impact on production schedule.
Assessing volume requirements against planning assumptions
Working jointly with production planning to publish customer Sales Order delivery committed dates and updating them in a timely fashion when required.
Minimizing excess and obsolete stock.
Managing orders and deliveries to ensure on- time delivery to commitment.
Monitoring inventory levels against agreed target levels.
Utilizing established Material Requirements Planning system (MRP) or approved IT system that is in place to ensure that data is accurate and up to date including resolving any issues as required.
Implementing relevant processes to agreed standards and targets and support continuous improvement initiatives and identify areas of improvement.
Following up actions in relation to material shortages that affect production.
Creating reports, analyzing, and updating data if required to support the needs of the business.
Planning, developing, implementing and evaluating processes for material delivery from supplier to point of fit.
Supporting inventory checks to validate inventory accuracy and acting quickly to correct errors if warranted.
Monitoring the integrity and accuracy of Bill of Materials (BOM) and managing inventory accuracy.
Scheduling the supply of materials/components to meet customer demand and production requirements.

University degree or college diploma: major in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as Materials or Production Planning roles in manufacturing companies.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Experience with ERP system (such as Microsoft Dynamics AX, Epicor), inventory planning.
High working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Other: Team player, forward thinking.
Excellent communication skills for both verbal and written in Vietnamese and English.
Good attention to detail, math, and multi- tasking skills.
Strong analytical, time management and problem- solving skills.
