Sustainability Manager (Quản lý Phát Triển Bền Vững)

Sustainability Manager will be reporting to the General Manager, duties and responsibilities for this role shall include, but are not limited to the following:
• Manage hotel ongoing compliance to the Six Senses Sustainability Guidelines for Operations and execution of the resort- specific Sustainability Action Plan.
• Assist General Manager in mobilizing and managing the Sustainability activities.
• Develop and lead Sustainable staff events on a monthly basis.
• Manage Sustainability funds on a monthly basis and ensure that the funds are collected and distributed in an effective and transparent manner, documenting the projects/initiatives implemented with the funds support.
• Community Relations – Develop and maintain relationships with key community organizations and representatives.
• Drive innovation for resource efficiency and act as a focal point for ideas and initiatives from all resort employees.
• Manage existing relationships with sustainability- related partners the property currently has and identify opportunities for enhancing existing or adding new partnerships.
• Training- together with Human Resources, develop new staff training material, support Human Resource in delivering training material to Resort.
• Connect the resort with globally recognized sustainability events and initiatives for guests and staff.
• Communicate sustainability projects/initiatives and expectations on hotel management action and/or support from Home Office Sustainability to resort teams.
• Lead the Sustainability and Energy activities, with support from the General Manager.

• Solid understanding of the latest trends and technique in sustainability, plus the ability to successfully implement sustainability initiatives.
• Strong background in program management, particularly with planning methods and coordinating programs, as well as budget preparation and monitoring.
• Very good command on spoken and written English.
• Ability to work with all levels of the organization.
• Experience in Marine Biology, Ecology, Public Health or other environmental/social specialty is a big plus.
• Strong interpersonal for interacting with a variety of groups, including local government or civic organizations, private citizens.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Sustainability or closely related field.
• Personally involved, visible and proactive person with excellent organizational, interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
• Willing to work on remote island.
