Olam Food Ingredients (ofi) is a global leader offering naturally good food & beverage ingredients and solutions. ofi commenced operations in Vietnam in 1997, setting up its representative office. Since then, we have established an extensive presence across different parts of Vietnam, including our head office in Ho Chi Minh City and regional offices in Binh Dinh, Long An, Dong Nai, Phu Yen, Lamdong and Gialai Provinces.
fi Vietnam is currently the largest exporter of Cashews, Pepper & Instant Coffee in Vietnam, investing in the state- of- the- art instant coffee facility and running 7 large factories with 7,500 employees across Central & South Vietnam. Our operations have an interface with a farmer network of 2 million farmers. We are also amongst the largest exporter of Green Coffee in Vietnam.
We have established sustainability programmers for black pepper, coffee & cashew. We are excited about our future prospects in Vietnam as the country has huge potential in agriculture.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Tax Compliance
- Keep updated the latest changes in tax requirements to all relevant stakeholders on timely basis.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local and national regulations.
- Keep abreast of changes in laws and regulations that may impact the company&039;s operations.
- Oversee and ensure Tax compliance (VAT/ PIT/ Customs etc., )
• Licensing and Permits
- Manage the process of obtaining and renewing licenses, permits, and registrations required for the Business operations.
- Maintain a comprehensive database of all licenses and permits, ensuring they are up- to- date.
• Land Use Rights
- Collaborate with relevant authorities and landowners to resolve any land- related disputes or issues.
- Handle land use right- related matters, including lease agreements and land title issues.
• Contract Management
- Prepare, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts and agreements, including vendor contracts, service agreements, and partnerships.
- Ensure that contracts align with legal requirements and mitigate potential risks to the company.
• Government Relations
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with government authorities and regulatory bodies.
- Act as the primary point of contact for legal and compliance matters when dealing with external stakeholders.
• Reporting and Documentation
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all legal and compliance- related documents and correspondence.
- Prepare regular reports for senior management on legal and compliance activities and developments.
