Tax & Payable Accountant (Short-Term)

RSM Vietnam&039;s Client a leading brand in the comprehensive motor manufacturer in Japan. The Company is now looking for suitable candidate for the job position as Tax and Payable Accountant
(Full- time: 7 months)
, who be responsible for:

Prepare vouchers listing invoice number, date, vendor address, item description, amounts and coding per accounting policies and procedures
Verify invoices against purchase orders and ensure goods or services were received before issuing payment to vendors
Check vendor files for any previous payments and assign voucher numbers
Input daily bookkeeping and record keeping
Make sure to comply with federal, state and local tax regulations
Find tax solutions to complicated tax issues or errors from incorrect tax filings
Reconcile bank statements
Advise management about the impact of tax liabilities and corporate strategies or new tax laws
Prepare tax provisions schedules, returns, payments, reports and maintain a company’s tax database
Accurately prepare quarterly and annual tax reports
Obtain proper information and/or data regarding invoice payments
Coordinate outsourced tax preparation work

At least 3 years’ experience in a similar position
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or relevant field
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical skills
Good understanding of MS Office and accounting software
Strong knowledge of Vietnam Accounting Standards
