Teacher Librarian

- Assist in setting up the organizational system of the library, reading incentive programs and preparation of library forms, notices, letters and other correspondence
- Other tasks as assigned by the BOD
- Assist teachers and students in researching, selecting, and locating appropriate print and non-print media for use in lessons and assignments;
- Run, prepare and distribute overdue notices routinely and maintains related obligation lists/records;
- Research the book resource, get quotation and send proposal to BOG
- Promote the proper operation, handling, and care of library equipment;
- Co-teach with home room teacher on how to use resource and research properly
- Ensure that the organizational system of the library is maintained by overseeing library staff to correctly and independently return materials (both book and non-book) to the correct location and in proper shelf order;
- Run and maintain statistical reports on usage
- Participate in workshops and in-service training when appropriate and approved by the Head of School
- Undertake professional development to enhance teaching and pupils&039; learning, identify impact, apply and share outcomes with colleagues;
- Support teachers and students in the proper use of online databases and other digital resources;
- Ensure the physical appearance of the library as a clean, orderly, and attractive environment
- Review and source appropriate print and non-print materials for collection development purposes both independently and in consultation with other staff members.
- Work with small groups of students to discuss and/or reinforce instructional outcomes;
- Assist in training and supervising student or parent volunteers in the daily operation of the library;

- Bachelor degree in Library Information Science or related subject
- Ability to use ICT in a professional context and to support Learning and Teaching
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- At least 2 years working experience to work in International School library - Prefer IB School
- The ability to communicate in English effectively (written and verbal) to a variety of audiences
- A demonstrable ability to successfully create, motivate and inspire students
