We are currently seeking a tech- savvy Automation Engineer who can work magic with automation and take our team&039;s workflow to the next level. This opportunity is perfect for someone who is a Builder and has a talent for building and streamlining operations seamlessly.
What you’ll do:
Collaborate with investments and portfolio team to ideate and build useful data pipelines and analysis tools
Prototype and test larger standalone projects like due diligence co- pilot
Enable an efficient investment and portfolio management process that keeps to Iterative SLAs by building relevant (no- code) tools, automations, interfaces and infrastructure
Stay up- to- date with emerging no- code, automation and data analysis technologies and best practices, keeping in mind how we can leverage such technologies for the Iterative team
Enrich, store and analyze Iterative’s rich data bank of applications and portfolio companies
Own and optimize our investments and portfolio tech stack (Airtable, Zapier, Sendgrid, portfolio management platform)
Identify opportunities for automation; collaborate with team members to build no- code or lite- code solutions to complex workflows
Monitor and optimize automated solutions, updating and deprecating features when necessary
We have a wishlist of projects that we would love for someone like you to undertake:
Ideate and prototype larger standalone projects such as App Review Co- Pilot (ingest application data and produce an automated score)
Portfolio Data Enrichment and Analysis – Ingest all portfolio data from all sources (Fundwave surveys; email updates; recorded meetings with founders) and keep updated view on key metrics for portfolio companies. Analyze our rich data store for other firm purposes- e.g. a) internal market research b) pro rata decisions c) valuation benchmarking for external deals in the same segment
Application Pipeline Stats – Build an automated interface to check key application pipeline stats like time to interview, graduation rates, and other key data points
Investment Funnel Operations Automation – Automate all manual tasks in current investment funnel operations (checking when calls are scheduled; following up with founders who have not scheduled calls within SLA timelines; load- balancing final interviews; surfacing repeat applications)
Who You Are:
Proven Experience – You have a proven track record of building and automating using no- code/low- code tools. It is likely that you have a background in Computer Science, but it’s not a must.
Problem Solver – You are passionate about delving deep to identify problems and coming up with creative solutions to increase efficiency and impact via automation and tooling.
Tech Expertise – Experience with tools such as Zapier, Airtable and Sendgrid are essential. No- code skillset is a must; data science skillset is a nice- to- have but should have basic fundamentals
Team Player – Ability to work and collaborate cross- functionally as you will be working on projects spanning investments and portfolio
Growth Mindset – You have a growth mindset. Meaning you can and will learn whatever you need to get the job done. You’re comfortable stretching your existing skills or learning completely new ones.
Analytical – You are deeply analytical and comfortable understanding and manipulating data to gain and take action on business insights.
Communication – You have strong communication skills whether verbal, written, or in presentations.
