Technical - Application Engineer

• Analyze the accounts clinical profile to identify needs of the customer and offer a solution involving Brainlab products
• Educate, train, provide on-site guidance and assistance to physicians and hospital personnel (physicists, therapists, Biomedical and Information Technologies staff) on the use of Brainlab products and services, maximizing product efficiency and usage
• Conduct software updates
• Perform clinical demonstrations
• Self-planning, organization and implementation of all service activities according to Brainlab policies
• Perform system set up and maintain IGS products including quickly and efficient completion of acceptance protocols and deliver accurate reports
• Visit all assigned warranty and service contract customers (frequency depending on customer)
• Report and document complaints and product enhancement requests to Product Support Management
• Promote updates/upgrades and service contracts (in cooperation with Customer Service) in line with the predefined account strategy (account planning process)
• Perform all mandatory administrative tasks accurately and in a timely manner. This includes:
+ Documentation of every action and customer contact in address book
+ Documentation of travel plan at least 3 weeks in advance
+ Submitting daily field reports whenever possible (but on all cases upon the completion of one week).
• Attend meetings and trade shows to demonstrate and promote products and services
• Identify upgrade potential and work together with the responsible Area Sales Manager accordingly to win the business
• Developing and executing an adequate sales strategy
• Attend annually necessary trainings to ensure adequate qualification
• Monitors and promotes customer usage of products

- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Biomedical Engineering from reputed University
* Having ONE of the following knowledge would be an advantage:
- Windows/Linux operating system management
- Experience in Medical Equipments
